Video Update 9/17/06
Ride put together a really cool retrospective with some of their old pictures of riders from NYC. It is awesome.
Yellow Snow Productions sent me a sick trailer for a video they are working on. Chris Wilson is a footage machine.
I never thought that I would enjoy a bike video that was seemingly filmed with a microscopic camera inserted inside an elderly man's dick, but somehow this is pretty dope regardless. Rider's name is Matt Desson.
Trailer for some new video, I don't really know what it's called but it looks good.
Rick Thorne weighs in at the FAT site. I have absolutely no idea what the fuck he's talking about, so that's pretty funny.

09/15/06 News
Vital did a really cool video interview thing with Tom White and Edwin.
The new Lotek fall line is up on their site. Looks real good, I don't know why but I love this Motorhead rip off.
New Aaron Ross picture.
Crazy new song by Hi Tek featuring Jadakiss, Papoose, Talib and Raekwon.

6 Questions with Steve Crandall.
I think Steve Crandall likes The Come Up. And yesterday, perhaps to show me that he likes it, he sent me a photo of himself eating a slice of pizza in NYC out of the blue. I appreciate the photo, but figured I needed a little something to go with the photo in order to complete the package, so I asked him 6 questions.
1) Right now on a certain BMX messageboard there's some bitching and moaning going on about FBM's warranty situation. What's the deal with that and how do you feel about kids who take their vendettas against frame companys to the messageboards?
BMXBoard is awesome, where else can you go and read about how fat I am because some kid broke a frame. I have even been threatened by a kid named Austin Omalley who lives in Chicago. He said he was going to kick my ass and blow up the FBM warehouse.
Bikes break from being ridden, some bikes break sooner than people would like, and that sucks, but what can I do? If you want a bike thats going to last forever, In my opinion, you should ride something gnarlier than a trailstyle frame.
We are not trying to rip kids off, we do what we can and we try and be fair. there are a lot more kids stoked on the FBM frames they have than there are kids talking shit online. I think those dudes ( the ones that arent shittalking ) are out riding, or building jumps, or ramps or working a second job, or taking care of their kids, or what have you, but they aren't standing on a digital soap box yelling and making threats.
Do you know how many warranty claims ( bikes returned) are made by retards that sent a frame with no info? Or the wrong info, or just flat out lied to one of us on the phone? Or called up and threatened us? And we are the ones who are shady?
I wish I could make every customer happy, but thats unrealistic, and if it took us a while to get ahold of some kids, I apologize, we are trying....
I guess to answer the question though, people have the right to say what they want, wether I like it or not....
2) What's the deal with Aaron Ross? Is it hard sponsoring such a madman?
It took me a second to get used to someone who rides down the street, nearly getting killed by traffic, and text messaging the whole time, and then tailwhipping down a flight of stairs. Aarons pretty cool, I wish i had more time to film with him, but he's hot right now, and filming for like 44 projects, but when that Etnies video drops, people are going to freak out.
3) What member of the FBM army is most likely to switch sides and not be able to say "no homo" anymore?
You mean turn gay or come out of the closet? I am more worried about paying my rent on time, than I am on other peoples sexual orientation. No homeowner....
4) If you had to pick one video part from one FBM video and use it to represent everything you've done with the company, which part would it be and why.
Probably the slide show on the 10 year, it shows a long history of alot of us having fun and riding bikes. Either that or Albert St. I think we were crazy back then, I can't even believe some of the shit that was in that thing. I guess all the videos for different reasons, you know? I've been around a while, so its fun to look back.
5) When is the next FBM video coming out and what can we expect from it?
I havent made the new FBM video yet, but its probably on you toob already.
Expect Cameron Wood footage that will make you nervous, expect people laughing, expect people to talk shit on us when they see it, and expect us to not give a fuck, because we will have had fun making it, and thats all that matters. I'll make a whole video filled with indian givers, ballrides and box jump footage, I dont even care.
6) Tony Hamlin claims you jerked off in his sleeping bag in his interview on the FBM site. True or false and why?
Tony has spent alot of time traveling with me, and I am not confessing to anything. These youngsters might get scared from time to time when travelling with the older FBM crowd, but none of them have gone cross country with Lou Bickle, that even freaked me out.
Good shit. If you have time check out the FBM site, there are a bunch of good interviews with their riders, as well as some photos and videos and shit.

VIDEOS
Here's footage of Steve-o's smith rail against the wall at the banks jam. Probably the best move on the rail all day along with the icepick grind to barspin.
I don't know what this is from or anything, but Vidal is so fucking good.
I grew up 5 minutes away from this park. Good to see some shredders kill it, word to Charlie for sending it to me.
Video of the Maitland trannies featuring Ricky from Orlando. I rode this exact same spot with him once before, but I did not do a flat ground fakie wallride.
Video of a bunch of BMXBoard kids riding, possibly including the infamous Catfish.

GUTTERATS VIDEO TRAILER
I haven't seen many falls as nasty as this in a while. These kids are nuts, I bet the video will be sick. Check them out on Myspace here if you're feeling it.
Bonus:
Another Brooklyn Banks jam edit:
Mike Spinner bike check.
Like it or not, Scotty Cranmer is killing it. Manual to front flip attempt on a box jump... Barspin to footjam in a contest. Video up here.

A LITTLE BIT MORE BANKS JAM STUFF
I swear this is my last Brooklyn Banks Jam post. At least until I get another video for you.
Russ ( Not Eddie Roman ) wrote a long, complete and well done summary of the jam for Defgrip that you can read here.
Animal has a bunch of good pictures up taken by Matt ( including the one above which I like for some reason ) although Steve-o's smith rail is conspicuously missing.
Bonus:
Check out this ill video of Chris Savoy. I know I've been posting a lot of videos from kids you've never heard of lately, but I promise they've all been really good.

BROOKLYN BANKS JAM 2006 VIDEO
Decent video, I'm sure there will be more to come. All I have to say about the suplex Blackman recieves in the begining is HOLY FUCK. I didn't think that kind of thing happened in real fights.
Bonus:
Check out this sick video of my boy Kent from San Jose. Kid is nuts.

9/11 RIP
I remember when the Fit - Puerto Rico video came out, someday said something on BMXBoard like "I'll be impressed by all that pegless icepick shit when I see a locked in 15 stair rail icepick with no pegs". Well here's Mike Hoder with a locked in 15 stair rail icepick with no pegs:
The Facad video looks like it's going to be pretty good. Here's another clip from it, it's the same trick I posted a few weeks ago but from a different angle, looks way better.
Steve from DFTU interviewed me for his site, so keep an eye out for that, it should be up soon. I am very wordy. His site has good stuff on it.
Rich Hirsch interview about Lotek on the Sneaker Freaker site.
I love Mike Ardelean but man is he weird.
Lastly check out my dude Chris rocking to a Gang Starr instrumental:

Quick Steve-o interview.
My man Steve Croteau had a few things on his mind following the Brooklyn Banks jam and I figured I'd give him a chance to get them off his chest. He's got a full interview coming up in my zine with some ill photos too, so keep an eye out. Peep game:
You were pretty heated about some of the shit people said to you in regards to the fight at the Banks Jam, namely someone calling you a "nigger lover" on BMXBoard. What's that about?
I dont know, these kids on bmxboard honestly think they know it all. That shit between Blackman and the other dude is their business, not for some punk to post pictures and videos on the internet, Blackman isnt my best friend or nothin, but it would suck to see something like that. He had it coming to him is what people are saying, and I fully agree, but it was yesterday and todays today, so get over it. As for that kid who called me a "nigger lover", he will get dealt with, thats some fuckin wrong shit.
Do you think that kids who would say that shit online are straight up racist or just trying to front like they're hard on the internet? Because I think everyone knows that none of those faggots are going to call Black a nigger to his face.
Just bmxboard punks man. Not one of those kids who say that type of shit would ever call Blackman or Ed or Rone a nigger... and who the fuck says nigger anyway? Some fucking hillbilly bullshit, kid needs to learn not to be a dick. He'll learn soon.
Who else are you mad at right now in BMX?
Just little kids who think they know it all, how the industry is, and who people are. I dont know I just cant stand it. Especially since I saw a thousand kids yesterday rockin purple cause they thought it was the thing... I dont know shit like that bothers me when it shouldnt.
What's good with the smith grind on the rail next to the wall at the banks jam when you told me 5 days before that you couldn't smith rails anymore? Haha.
I dont know, i told Terra I would do it because he was complaining he had no shots of the rail, and I was like alright I'll smith it, then everyone crowded the rail so I thought it was out, but later in the day the best trick on rail happened, and I don't know, crazy moves went down so I got hyped to smith it. It felt proper, I'm pretty happy, nobody has a picture of it, but oh well.
Any last words?
Just do what you do, don't copy an image, dont change for people, do whatever you wanna do. Copying someone else wont get you anywhere, I saw too many clones yesterday at the jam, and it was too ridiculous.
Also check out this edit of Steve shredding. Some footage from the 2hip video, but a bunch of new stuff too.

HUGE UPDATE
Mike Brennan, huge drop. I don't even know where this is exactly but I know it's in the vicinity of the banks. Lots more pics here.
Ride put together a retrospective of a ton of old photos of The Gonz. I'm stoked on it, lots of good memories for me in there since I've been sweating him since I was a kid. Check it out here.
I don't want to bum PROPS out too hard, but here is the LA scene report from issue 61 which just came out:
I have the following things to say about this scene report.
1) Best scene report I've probably ever seen.
2) Best section in Props in many years, possibly since the Ralph Sinisi interview.
3) Legit street flair.
4) I used to think I liked living in NYC but I think now I want to move to LA and just ride ledges and flat rails all day.
5) I used to think Adam Banton was gross but his interview in Props 60 and his clips in here have me convinced he's awesome.
In other news:
Kevin Robinson did a double flair.
My brother from another mother, 50 cent got arrested and it's on film right here.
I put up a new picture of Devil Feil on The Come Up's Myspace. Check it out, comment, and if you aren't friends with me yet you should definetly send me a friend request.
There has been a bunch of shit talking going on regarding why exactly Blackman ended up duking it out at the banks jam in the comments on my last entry. Check it out, it makes me feel popular when my entries get tons of comments.
And lastly a couple of video submissions from my loyal viewers.
Get this video and more at MySpace.com
Video part from this kid Jeff. This is really good.
Video trailer for "No Rhyme or Reason". This was rad, lots of big ass slam bars, good street and the return of the kickflip barspin. If you want to know more holla at this dude.

BROOKLYN BANKS 2006 RE-CAP
CAN'T KEEP A BLACKMAN DOWN!
I went to the banks jam for a couple hours but I was crazy tired and felt like shit so I headed out quick. However I did recieve this "anonymous" summary of the day.
"Ok so when I got there, there was already wild shit going on. Augie did the wildest bunnyhop superman into the wood, brad simms whiped the ten to flat, all crazy shit. Then mike saw a weird railhop, he did sprocket to hopover and some unknown kid cased thr rail haha. Then mike got the idea to get people to donate money for a long jump contest, some racer dude I don't know. Then he got pople to putup money for a 10step trick contest, villani 3ed into the 1, terramoto 3ed em, brad whipped them once again, and a bunch of wildman were in on it, the last "contest" of the jam was the best rail trick, vinnie drek dustered it first try, scottie feebled it first try, some wildman tooth swungover it, jorge herrera crankflipped to rail, villani did it pegless, streetsweeper did over tooth, over ice and came so close to icepick to barspin, steveo smithed it and ryan howard xup grinded it. Blackman and Bushwick Andy got into a fist fight, where blackman was dropped onto his back, I'm sure you'll see footage of it unfortunately. He also came back 30mins later and 360ed over the rail to flat. Dave Kreinke was there with his typical LSD antics, setting his hair on fire and jumping the 10to flat with a skateboard, all kinds of wild shit. Just another fun filled banks jam. "

Random news.
I don't have a link for it, but I guess Brad Simms is on Hoffman.
New Shook trailer is up. Can't wait to see this.
Rich Hirsch is apparently off Redline.
Taj is apparently on Odyssey. Does that mean he's off Coalition?
Speaking of Coalition I just did the first half of a sick interview with Greg Walsh.
Josh Stricker apparently stole Blackman's thunder and wallrided the backwall out of the Brooklyn Banks.
Don't forget about the Joe Tiseo jam tomorrow in NYC.

BLACKMAN INTERVIEW IS UP
Everyone has been asking me to read the Blackman interview I did and although I wanted to save it and make it an exclusive just for my zine, I feel like a lot of the stuff he said is kind of current and won't matter as much in a month or two when it comes out, so I'm putting it online now.

Yup.
All's been pretty quiet in terms of BMX news and online videos, but today I did happen to find this:
What video is this from? Think about how far above everyone else Ruben is. If you want to see the bigger version click here.
There's a good video from the Double Ditch Jam on Vital ( and by the way Losey you should hire me to work for your site ).
There's a video up of Spinner doing a 720 whip before he did it in that contest:
The Gayme put out a new G-Unit diss. Is this ever going to stop?

DOING IT.
New issue of DIG. Content rundown on the Fat site.
TWO POUND BIKE FRAME. WHAT THE FUCK.
There's a preview for the new issue of Props on BMXonline.
Ryan Sher is off Kink. This does little to negate the fact that Kink probably has the least interesting team in BMX. Tell Zach that for a small fee I will move to California and turn his company around.
50 cent dissed Puff Daddy last night. Crrrrrrrrrazy.
Greg Walsh sent me a link to his personal site War Of Attrition which is really dope. He's one angry guy. I'm interviewing him for the zine so keep an eye out. And he likes Shere Khan.
New Charlie Crumlish video. Music choice makes me want to hit him with a frying pan.
New BMXFU trailer.
New BK video. I don't know what BK stands for exactly but it doesn't stand for Brooklyn or Burger King.

FIRST COME UP SHIRT
I just purchased a new domain name ( www.thecomeupbmx.net ) and so to celebrate, I'm putting out the first THE COME UP shirt. It's a Blackman signature edition. The only way to get one is to order it from this site ( or the myspace ) and you only have a few days. This is a limited print run ( less than 100 ) so if you want it, act fast.
Here's how to get it if you want it:
1) Paypal. This is the easiest way. My paypal email is heyshutupman@hotmail.com , just send 12 bucks on that thing ( 10 for the shirt, 2 for shipping ).
2) Check. This is allright too, my shipping address is Adam22 / 3149 steinway st / astoria NY 11103.
3) Cash. It's pretty safe to just mail me money, just make sure you put it in between a greeting card or a few pieces of paper so nobody steals it.
Just make sure to specify your size and your address. Get down.

DFTU
The latest DFTU/carhartt jam just went down. There are a bunch of good pictures and some words here. And there are a few different videos of it:
Then the other video is here.
On the same note, I just saw the DFTU mixtape and it was fucking awesome.
And on another similar note I recently interviewed the UK's Marv:
Who held down the last section in Voices, here's a preview of that ( it's a preview, 2 questions is not a full interview, keep hating BMXBoard you fucks ):
What's the story with those 8 piece bars you ride for most of your section in Voices? Why did you seeminly stop riding them towards the end of your section?
They are 4 piece and they were made by Powerlite. When I was young there was a group of riders known around London called Bicycle Union and they all had the same bike set up, 2 pegs, back brake, Powerlites and would always ride mini ramp. Everyone I grew up with thought they were the coolest so we all had a pair of powerlites at some point. They might look like shit but they feel amazing loads of up and back sweep. Pwerlite made two sorts though. One set came on their complete bikes which always broke and some super tuff ones they sold separately. I had the ones which broke and mine broke half way through filming. I’m over them now, it was the end of an era.
What's the street riding like where you live? It seems like you have a lot of crazy spots out there, but a lot of them seem pretty harsh and hard to ride too.
Yeah there is a lot of street but none of it is perfect. We would watch American videos and be gutted cos all the spots look amazing, all the spots in this country always have something wrong with them. Either the run up or run out is shit or where you take off is a down slope. But you get used to it. It makes you look hard as fuck cos they look like shit too.
If you remember correctly, his part in Voices was unbelievable and his clips in the DFTU mixtape are even better ( smith to barspin on a high ass 6 stair ledge ). I'm going to try to interview one or two of the other dudes from the video too before the zine is done.
Keep your eyes open for the new, exclusive Blackman signature shirt.

New Gonz photo from the Ride site. They have a great interview with Shad Johnson up too.
Anthony Napolitan. I guess even back then you could call me.......
There are a bunch of new pictures of Aaron Ross on the FBM site. And if you're into this sort of thing, he has a bike check up on the Odyssey site.
Nigel broke his wrist.
Unlike the Solid crew, I haven't rode a pool in years :(.

I heard that Marlon Europe who was previously riding for Bulldog Bikes is now riding for 2-Hip. I also heard he and Steve-o might be getting some signature parts through 2-Hip.
I guess Seth Kimbrough is riding for the Shadow Conspiracy.
Rick Thorne had one of his friends call up Jimmy Levan and threaten him all because of a Sean Burns ad that the biker in black found offensive. I haven't seen said ad, but I'm willing to bet that it's LOL.
Bottom right hand corner, there's a link to Scotty Cranmer's winning X-Gaymes run. I honestly can't even comprehend how big that course is.
Really good park footage from Jared Chilko.

Nowhere Fast
*EDIT* Video was taken down at the request of Dave Parrick. I guess he was real nice about it, and you can't blame him since he's probably going to re-issue it soon.
------------------------------------------
If you're old school, you've allready watched it a million times, if you're new, you need to know your roots. Ralph, Dave Young, Josh Heino and everyone else killed themselves for this video way back in 1999 or so.

A few things.
There are a ton of really good street photos ( and trails, and park ) on the Random BMX website, this one of "Ted" being one of them.
Check out this new webzine, Go Back To Bed. It's 14 pages and has a lot of good photographs and interesting articles about riding.
I have always wanted to see Ryan Corrigan's dick.
Brian Kachinsky interview.
New photo of The Gonz.
Someone myspaced me and told me to post a Cro Mags video. I don't want to let him down, so here ya go.
Edit: A few afterthoughts.
What the fuck is going on with Ryan's pubic hair?
And also on the RandomBMX site I found this huge assortment of photos of various street spots, some of them relatively mundane and some of them totally ridiculous. Definetly worth looking at.

" I'M POOR, NIGGA "
My buddy Chris ( who took the above photo ) from England visited NYC today and hung out with me at the Brooklyn Banks. He took photos of Nigel, Blackman and a few other locals, all of which I bet will come out dope. Check his site out here and I'll be sure to let you know when his NYC pictures are online.
There's some new footage of Cory Martinez on the Orchid site. That first wallride looks pretty much impossible.
New Orchid Brian Wizmerski ad. Goddamn.
Vinnie posted on BMXBoard saying that there is a Joe Tiseo jam on September 9th at the Brooklyn Banks. I'll be there. Here's the flyer.
Jeff Dupaul took this photo of this kinked rail by Brent Wargo. It was on the Ride site but they said someone else took it.
I honestly think bike checks are the gayest thing on earth but I really like Larry Alvarado so his interested me.
Lotek's fall line is up and it's way better than everyone else in BMX's as usual.
This video is pretty dope. Mostly park but he's really good. I want to know if his last name is really Hardway.
I'm looking for anyone who has a collection of VHS BMX videos who wouldn't mind uploading a few crucial parts for this site... if you are able to do that I'd be super appreciative, myspace me or email me: heyshutupman@hotmail.com

GRUNDLE.
That is a serious fucking smith grind!
Awesome trip video from Ohio.
This site is sort of similar to mine. I really like it and I hope that more BMX kids start doing similar shit. This video is on there and it is awesome.
Sequence of Spinner's 720 whip.
This is a very long rail. Hopefully the entire video involves Star Wars characters.
I've always known I hated "street wear" despite my slight interest in it, but I never really knew why until I saw this site. Coincidentally DefGrip seem to have found out about it on the same exact day I did.
I posted the free Etnies DVD which came with DIG a few months back a while ago, but recieved my one and only angry email telling me to take it down. They put that shit on their site though so in case you didn't catch it before, check it out now, here.
And finally just in case you haven't figured it out yet, I totally stole my new style from Nah Right aka the best hip hop blog ever. I highly reccomend bookmarking it.

I'M RIDING SPINNERS
Spinner won some contest. Although I am happy for him, I really wish he had kept his hair short. It's one thing to be a jew, it's another thing alltogether to be a jew with an afro.
"Mike Spinner was head, shoulders, and nappy afro above his competitors, however. His 540 tailwhip, double tailwhip, and double turndown 720 would have sealed the win, but he put the final nail in the coffin with a tailwhip 720, a trick never landed before in competition, amateur or otherwise. The pros watching on the sidelines cheered Mike on after a botched attempt, and let loose when he pulled it clean. There were rumors floating around before the comp that it was going to go down, so everyone was psyched to see it happen. “I landed my first 720 whip maybe a month ago,” said Mike after the contest. “It’s pretty scary, and I’ve never done it on a box this big. That was the fourth one I’ve rolled away from.”

Random Stuff.
Villiani rules. I don't know if I've ever seen a backwards manual to 540 cab before, but if I have it definetly didn't look as good as that one.
This kid rules.
Ryan Metro is off Metal and on United.
Attila Bikes video preview. Devin from Peg Leg ( interview coming up in the zine ) rides for them.
This kid is fucking ten.
George and Max from Boston stayed with me for a few days but I didn't go riding with them because I have a girl from Chicago staying with me. They said they'll have a video up of some of their footage for me soon though.
It's insane how high the rails some kids are doing these days are.
Did you know that this site gets over 500 hits a day? Because I sure as fuck didn't think it would be that high. I definetly appreciate it though.

NEWS 8/15/06
Crazy picture of Mike Hoder I found on the Woozy site. Their site is definetly bookmark worthy.
The dudes over at Degrip were cool enough to throw up a link to my site. One love to those guys, they really inspire me to make this site better.
I had a nice talk with Jeff K ( or as I prefer to call him, the dude who rode down that kinked rail in Shook ) who I'm interviewing last night. His new video has a Myspace allready up for it. He doesn't know what it's going to be called yet but check out the list of riders he told me are going to be in it: "Lil Jon, Jeff Wescott/Grant Castaluzzo, Eric Holley/Nick Anderson, Tony Neyer, Karl Poynter, Dominic Trovato, Mike Hinkens, Anthony Villani/Steve-O, Tony Maloof, Quinn Semling, Richard Mungall, Dave Friemuth." And that's just the full parts, not the random clips. Nuts.
Jeff also helps run Mid West BMX, which is a really good site with a ton of videos, none of which I am able to watch right now because YouTube is down.
Fakie to fakie barspin up a 3 stair to fakie turndown down a 3 stair. I wish I could figure out how to directly link to stuff from bmxonline. It's listed under August 15th.
Mo money.

BLACKMAN SNIPPIET
I rolled through Brooklyn today and interviewed the infamous Blackman. Everyone knows Blackman as being some crazy dude who jumps off of big shit but I got to see a little bit more of the calm side of his personality. You gotta buy the zine if you want to see this rest of the interview, out soon.
A22: Pretty much when people think about Blackman, they think about you doing crazy shit like grinding a 15 stair flat rail on the cover of Ride. What made you want to do that? Is it because you just want to get your name out there or do you want to push yourself or do you want to make your sponsors happy?
I mean, I do it for me. Just to know I can do it. I do it because that's Black Man. I always wanted to do that ledge. That's my high school. I always used to get out of school and go look at the ledge. I just always wanted to do it. I ain't scared to do nothing like that. The person I like riding with most is Mike Hoder because me and Hoder ride the same, we both love jumping off of shit. I can ride with Hoder all day. Ralphie, Nigel... I can ride with anybody. Anyone I feel is doing something crazy, I'm with the same thing. I dunno man though, life is crazy. You break your neck, you break your fucking neck.
A22: You seem like you've been through a lot of shit lately. Like your perspective is changing on life and shit. Like maybe you've become more mature lately.
Yeah I mean, I'm about to become a grown man, I gotta do grown man things. I can't be fucking sleeping on the couch. Fucking robbing, stealing, I gotta make my own money. I can't be hustling. I'm about to finish high school. Hopefully.
A22: So what is this "no homo" shit all about? I think a lot of people outside of New York don't really understand that shit.
I mean "no homo"... a lot of niggas be saying gay shit so you just gotta say "pause". The real word is "grimey life" man. GRIMEY LIFE. Grimey life is the life I live.
A22: For someone who doesn't understand though, when is the proper time to say no homo?
Niggas with tight pants, they homos. I ain't really gonna say nothing but a lot of niggas might be like "blah blah, fuck blackman" and start crying and shit when I say you got tight pants on. I got tight pants friends. I got a lot of friends.
If you haven't yet, go add The Come Up on Myspace, I post bulletins whenever I update the site so you can know when to check back to see new shit.

AAAAAAAAANTE UP.
These kids are really good. Sort of low quality but definetly worth watching and it's probably YouTube's fault:
I think everyone assumed Mirra Co were going to be on some Haro shit but instead they came out with what may be the best complete bikes of all time. Click here.

CRUMLISH
How did Crumlish get way better all of a sudden? This footage is so much better than everything else I've seen from him. That half cab over the wood thing was so awesome. Also I'm pretty sure Jim C is in there doing a gnarly wedge ride to gap barspin. Here's an excerpt from my upcoming interview with Charlie which will be in my print zine:
What is the status of the kickflip in 2006?
I think it's coming back, but if I see a kid on a pegless bike at the skatepark do a kickflip wearing a New Era hat, small shirt and girls pants, I might kill myself. I like the trick a lot though, I dunno why people are down on it... It's like a barspin with your feet.
How do you feel about the Godsmack song which plays on your brother's myspace? Don't you think that you might want to play a more active role in his life if he is so misled he is rocking out to Godsmack?
You have no idea. He insists he just likes the drummer, to which I told him that a lot of bands have good drummers and also good singers, guitar players, etc. I've gotten him off some worse shit though, one day my cousin took him to some rank hardcore show and I caught Bub listening to that band later on, he was like "Yo, their drummer is amazing!" and I pointed out how shitty everyone else in the band was... so back to Godsmack. He hates most of my music too so it's all good, I just want to get him to listen to more hip hop.
I would definetly not watch before 00:38 in this video if your parents are around. And even if you don't feel like watching the rest of it I would definetly reccomend you watch starting at 2:45 if you want a serious LOL.
I found Dave Mirra's part from Sentenced To Life on Youtube. Is that a Creed song?
Of course you could always just go here and download the whole thing.

Video Update 8/10/06
If you live anywhere near this, definetly go by and donate or something. Brace is a great kid and I think it's rad that they're doing this. If you can't make it and want to donate, email or myspace me and I'll make sure it gets to the right place.
I really enjoyed this video of Dave and Brian that was posted on BMXBoard. Anyone know what song it is?
Check out this video of the Double Ditch Jam.
A bunch of guys from Canada had a memorial trail jam for their friend Tim Dasilva who passed away. Click here for the BMXBoard thread and check out the video.
This video is like 15 minutes of totally hardcore shit. Chris Wilson is a beast, make sure to watch the whole thing because his part is last and it's awesome.

LET IT BE KNOWN.
Spinner getting some love on the Ride site. That shit is nothing to him, but it's an ill photo.
I'm swagger jacking the Ride site a lot lately, but they have a dope Nigel interview up.
Joel Moody posted a new preview for the Empire Video. Chase Hawk is disturbed.
New preview for the NSF video. I've never seen any of their videos but that shit looks pretty dope and very Voices-esque, which rules. Check this one out too:
A little filler but definetly some insane shit in there. Search for "nsf bmx" ( or just click here ) and there are a bunch of other videos on there worth watching too.
I'm working HARD putting this zine together but I think you guys will be real happy when it's out. Myspace coming soon too to keep you updated. Balls deep.

Redbull Mean Streets / Killa Season
Redbull Mean Streets
This has obviously been online for forever and a day, but that was before this blog existed. I still totally love this video.
I assume a lot of you aren't "in the know" enough to know that you MUST see the Cam'ron movie, Killa Season. Well if you're too broke to buy it, here it is:

Large Video Update
My buddy Matty jumping a sick rail gap down the street from my apartment.
NASTY is on S&M. I've never given a shit about dirt jumping but I've always been stoked on that guy's riding.
Nigel is riding for Mirra Co. It must be insane having Dave Mirra think you're good enough to ride for him, but the kid deserves it if you ask me.
The music is annoying and the quality isn't great, but the Second Grenade video looks like it's going to be pretty good. 720 tailtap to barspin on a sub box??
Gary Young in Drop The Hammer ( it has some gay ass ad for 10 seconds first ):
FBM North East Road trip:
Is Adam22 doing a print version of this blog? Yes I am haters. Hot interviews with The Gonz, Blackman, Tom White, the Peg Leg crew and more... I'll make sure to keep you all updated. Don't sleep.

IT'S NOTHING.
Thaddeus Quinn Emailed me 2 of the best video parts ever, both from BLUEPRINT which came out around 2001. Blueprint was a Portland scene video as I remember and was put together ( I think ) by Shad Johnson and basically launched the careers of guys like Justin Inman, Rich Hirsch and a few other dudes who have been getting coverage and shit for a long time now. Definetly one of my favorite videos from my formative years of riding and these are 2 of the best parts from it. I personally like the Lou Rajsich part way more but that's just me. Check it:
Lou Rajsich
Jeremy Davis
AND NOW FOR SOME NEW SHIT:
Vinnie threw up this new Animal preview on bmxboard. It's insane. Wormz is amazing.
This new Micreation commercial of Larry Alvarado is fucking awesome. He's got to be one of my favorite riders out right now, dude is so good.
http://www.micreation.net/video/larry/magic.html
The new Shook trailer is here too. Features a bunch of Mike Brennan. That guy rules.
http://defgrip.com/exclusives/shook_break/shook_break_the_tape.htm
This kid is fucking incredible and he's apparently only 16. And I guess his name is Seamus which is a little bit no homo ( JK ):
I'm torn. The kid who posted this video is a total loser from bmxboard that nobody likes, but the trailer is good, so I'll post it.
Get this video and more at MySpace.com
This is way waaaaaaay too good to be listed so far down in this update, but what can I do?? WATCH IT.
http://media.putfile.com/ctc-11-add
AND NOW ON TO SOME VIEWER SUBMISSIONS. I APPRECIATE YOU GUYS SENDING THIS SHIT IN !!!
Michael Kados sent me these 2 videos, both are worth watching:
Charlie from Cape Cod sent me about a million videos, all of which I watched. Check out the other videos listed under his youtube if you're bored.
And I think that's it. Seems like there has been more shit popping up online lately, so keep sending me your videos and I'll try and keep posting up new stuff. I have some big ideas in terms of what I want to do with this site but I'll wait on elaborating for a while.
Peace

Never thought I'd have to touch this residue again.
I have no idea who uploaded these or anything but they are easily two of the best clips I've seen online in a long time. Bruce Crisman and Mike Hoder, respectively.
This is pretty funny:
and I have no idea who these kids are, but this video looks awesome:
this is dope too:

GET IT.
I'm back in Nashua right now, not riding because my knee is still fucked up, but I am having a good time hanging out poolside, not having a job and trying to not eat as much bread. I banged out this little fuck I've been dying to maim for a while and left him on the ground leaking like a faucet, so that was definetly worth 4 hours on the Fung Wah. I'm headed back to NYC wednesday morning, then like 6 bmx kids from Mass are coming down to ride for the weekend and stay at my place, followed by Evan and 2 other kids getting here from Florida as soon as they leave. Evan is an awesome photographer and I really want to do this gap to wallride for him but I'm doubtful of if my knee will be working good enough to do it. Either way, that's a lot of time spent on my bike which I need more of.
I'm really struggling to find good shit to post these days. You 'mo's are lazy.
This is that dude Matt crashing and nearly dying at the second Bone Deth. I know there is a good video of Bone Deth that was posted on bmxboard a month or so ago but I can't find it. Somebody should definetly email me that link.
Edwin's part from the first ever FIT video. I've always loved this part because a) the rest of the video sucked hard in comparison and b) it didn't seem like he put a ton of effort into it, he was just flowing around doing shit on road trips but it still came out so dope. Definetly a classic if you ask me.
Some of you are probably too young to have seen the Demolition video. Well Rooftop came pretty hard in it. There's some skatepark filler shit, but at the end he puts some serious shit down. Check it out.
I'll pretty much post anything with a Young Buck song in it. I have no idea how old this is but it's an FBM promo thing with footage from a bunch of trips.
All you broke ass niggas gon' hate,

This is a video of a bunch of americans who went to Barcelona and rode with Ricky Feather that Shawn McMahon sent me. I saw this like a year ago and thought it was crazy then, and it's still awesome now.
And this is a video from Andrew Brown and a bunch of his friends shredding in Scotland.
Enjoy.

Anyway, comment or email/myspace me if you want one so I can make sure to have your size ready. I'll post about it again before I actually do this, if I do do this, with the design.
Second up, some kid read my fucking mind and sent me one of my favorite video parts of all time. Edwin's bonus section from the Etnies DVD. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time finding the embeded link text to post so I'm just going to have to post the link.
Edwin's Bonus Part from the Etnies DVD
This is Mark Larkin doing a curved wallride to one footed table. Word to mother. Check out more here: www.farleysphotography.blogspot.com">farley photography

Def Grip and Shook have a new trailer for the new Shook video up. It's totally different than the other trailer I posted and has some really sick shit in it:

Anti Go-Team in BMX Video Legislature
Mutiny put up a new video on their site. Danny Hickerson is the obvious fan favorite here but I am a huge Joe Simon fan. The guy's been killing it forever.
http://mutinybikes.com/
That dude War_Pig from BMXBOARD ( no homo ) put up some clips of himself. Kid is sick:
I would, for the most part, rather have a colonostomy than listen to Aesop Rock but this video manages to make it work:
http://www.s8x.net/May.mov
Also I've been getting a bunch of submissions via email.
First off we have a video edited to Hot Hot Heat that was not put together by Charlie Crumlish. I didn't believe it either:

Dem Boys.
This dude who's name may or may not be named Steven Moxley sent me this really good video. He made it sound like it was going to suck but instead he's doing ridiculously complicated skatepark lines and it's edited to JR Writer. DIP SET DIP SET DIP SET DIP SET.
http://media.putfile.com/weekend-at-the-park
This song sucks and some of the clips are gay but this kid is still pretty good regardless.
http://media.putfile.com/nathan_full
Some of this riding is pretty good despite being edited to one of the gayest Wu songs:
If you haven't seen it, the promo for the new Shook might feature some of the craziest tricks of all time. It will literally make your butthole explode.
www.shookin.com
And finally, this is like the most watched bmx video on youtube for some reason. I really like it for some reason, the kids seem like they have no idea what's going on and they edited it to a Mike Jones song.

Allright Allright Allright.
In case you didn't know, I was in the hospital for a week. I ate shit riding some benches on Water Street and flipped over the bars. I cut a huge hole in my knee and had to get it stitched up. That seemed fine until it got infected, which was bad news. Either way I'm back and I should be riding again in a week or so. Maybe less. Anyway I missed a bunch of stuff while I was gone:
Skavenger commercial which is in the bonus on the new animal dvd "All Day" which if you don't have you should get:
NEW Skavenger commercial that Vinnie threw up on bmxboard earlier today:
Speaking of Vinnie, this is his new website. It seems really good so far, bunch of links to videos in there.
http://www.merked.com/
( No matter what check out the Adam Armstrong link he put up )
Some kid Greg killing a concrete park and doing a double-whip to freeway ride.
I didn't want to like this because it uses one of the all time worst rap disses as the soundtrack, but it's really good:
I wasn't really into this but if you're into skatepark riding more than me, you might be:
Get this video and more at MySpace.com
new Peg Leg edit which is good as always:
http://www.peg-leg.net/PLMAY2nd.mov
Lotek Mixtape Preview:

( I gotta get a copy of this )
Oh and here's another new Peg Leg edit:
http://www.peg-leg.net/PLMayEdit.mov
Preview for a video-zine that some dude sent me via email:
And that's all I got for now. If anyone can tell me how to turn a quicktime video into a youtube video, let me know, i'm clueless.
New update coming sooner than you think.

LEANING ON THE SWITCH
I haven't been able to ride pegs for the last week and It's been pretty horrible. I NEED TO GRIND. New wheel comes in a few days.
1) We should all be massively in debt to the dude who uploaded this part, Ian Schwartz from Props. It's a few years old but seriously incredible.
2) I posted a link to a video of the Battle Royale ( adding an E to the end of that word is wicked gay but it's not my idea ) before but this one is better.
http://www.mutinybikes.com/video/battleroyale0406.mov
And that's really all I got. Send me more videos.
Adam
PS:
Mike Spinner is coming here for a few days soon and I'll hopefully be filming with him... hot video part on the way, The Come Up exclusive.

CHEA.
I went to the Bulldog Bikes video premiere last night with my room mate Dietrech. It was a great time, the video was solid, Jimmy Mack was on some shit ( he paid for free hot dogs and pretzels and drinks for everyone ) and there was just a good vibe. I never drink but I slammed a 40 and drank 3 glasses of Don P. Pretty much everyone who you see riding in the city was there.
Check out the Bulldog website here if you're interested: http://www.bulldogbikesworldwide.com/home/home.html
and cop the video off the site or from Dans or something if you want ( buy it for Brad Simms' part alone. His last trick is going to be on every midwest park rat's sub-rail trick list by the end of the month ).
I looked around on bmxboard and didn't see any good videos. I never posted this though:
Old Animal commercial which you'll probably only find interesting if you've never heard Mobb Deep before ( by the way, cop the new album just so my nigga 50 doesn't starve to death ).
SEND ME MORE VIDEOS.

WHAT UP.
I just got back from Philly yesterday. I went there for 5 days with my good friend Tardif. We rode a lot, ate a lot, I creeped on some girls... It was a good time. At one point I got to see Tom White and Rat Kid totally kill some Philly street too which was pretty cool. Now I'm back in NYC, nahmean.
First off this is a link to a bunch of full length videos. Most are a year old or older. Road fools 12 & 13, the first two animal videos, FBM - All Time Low, tons of good ones.

Balls deep. If you haven't seen the Cam'ron movie KILLA SEASON you can peep the entire thing here. Check it.

So fucking funny. And what would a Come Up update be without a zillion fucking youtube links? I'm not even going to write descriptions, if I put it here, it's worth watching.
( Actually I gotta point out that this one above here is fucking awesome. I love that Matt Skaggs kid. )
More to come...
