S&M SLAM XLT'S.

I'm stoked on Slam Bars. I always rode pretty low, skinny bars my whole life until a friend recommended last year that riding higher bars might help with my back problems. I can't say for certain but I'm pretty sure that my Sunday bars ( that are Slam rip offs ) have helped me out in that department. It's definitely a different experience throwing the bars with a big pair of Slams on, but it looks better too. Anyway S&M have stepped up and made a much lighter ( a half a pound lighter ) pair with the same measurements. 60 bucks, go buy 'em if you feel like it.

i never understood the slam craze.. i think the only reason the northwest cats run them is because they grew up running them.

slams are fun if you remember having to run them before there was normal sized bars available.

then again, i never understood why people ran little tiny bars either. those s+m 4 piece bars that were popular confused me..

your hands should be comfy at shoulder-width. why go larger or smaller?

a lot of kids around here have gotten into the huge slam bar dickeat craze, and it looks so retarded when some little kid in super tight jeans is hanging off of those huge bars like hes doing pull ups or something.

unless you have huge shoulders and are like 7 feet tall, slam bars are dumb.

oh, i forgot to mention, people who run slam bars without brakes make their bike look like a bag of dicks. (eddie cleveland)

.. dude's real rad, and i have nothing but respect for him, but his bike looks like a bag of dicks cuz of those bars.

also, cutting down slam bars to 24" or something normal is also gay. just buy real bars that are the right width for you and you don't have to hacksaw them. plus you wont have to vomit semen all over your crossbar when you look down and see that it's 3 feet long.

bag.of.dicks.

agree to disagree i guess, i like the way they look and think eddie's got one of the best looking bikes in bmx. although yeah, sometimes i see videos of kids online where their bars are so huge it's just kind of outrageous.

berringer bars are my comfortable medium... two years of varied styling and i havent even bent them... but to each is own

old school fbm bars, the orginal, never bent and are perfect (even after many bike throws and other unfortunate events)

slams are the greatest thing to happen to bmx. pissmouth needs to shut the fuck up. if you jump huge trails you need bigger bars. big bars mean better control. the morthwest has discovered it have you.
