NORA CUP WINNERS

Ride posted the Nora cup winners. Here's my review of the winners:

#1 Dirt Jumper of the Year - Corey Bohan

Who the fuck is Corey Bohan? I hear this guy's name all the time but I have no clue who he is or what he did to make himself the dirt jumper of the year.

#1 Racer of the Year - Donny Robinson

I refuse to believe there is anyone on earth who still acknowledges that racing exists.

#1 Flatlander of the Year - Justin Miller

Similar to racing, I don't know anyone who knows anything about flatland. The profound difference however, is that racing is totally gay and while I would assume that flatlanders are on average more likely to be homosexuals than riders of other disciplines, flatland is pretty cool.

#1 Ramp Rider of the Year - Morgan Wade

I can't even really think of anyone else who could hold a candle to Morgan in this category.

#1 Street Rider of the Year - Corey Martinez

Corey is an amazing rider, but am I wrong to say that he has probably gotten less coverage this year than he has in a long time? I'd probably favor Tom White or Eddie Cleaveland over Corey just because they both had amazing video parts this year and I'm pretty sure Corey didn't have any video parts this year.

#1 Video Part of the Year - Josh Harrington

Uh... there was a Premium video? I would think that one portion of the criteria for this category would be that people would have had to actually have seen the video part ( or at least be aware that said video part existed ).

Ride also posted a bunch of pictures of "the girls of interbike" but if you ask me almost all of these bitches look like they had their faces ran through a Kink chain/Profile blackjack sprocket drive train set up. Come on Fudger, pussy has no face, but you don't need to parade that gnarly looking faces all over your website. I want to know which one of these chicks you banged and what strain of ghoneria she gave you ( JK ).

this is probably the best response I've ever gotten, haha. thanks.

i don't doubt it, he's obviously an amazing rider and his part in that gay video with berringer and mirra and shit in it was really good, it just seems like a really weird pick since i haven't heard anyone else say anything about the video part on bmx messageboards or in real life.

who is corey bohan?!? have you not seen any dirt comps this year? or the results?? he won elevation...

Adam22 said...

no, i have not seen any dirt comps because 1) i don't own a tv and 2) dirt jumping is one step away from being as gay as rollerblading. but humor me, what did he do in "elevation" ( which i assume is a contest ) that made him win that particular contest, nevermind become the dirt jumper of the year?

wait, i just figured out that corey bohan is on mosh. i saw that video and liked it, but i am assuming that he didn't win dirt jumper of the year for doing a bunch of manual to footplant 180s, so fill me in.

are you straight up retarded? dirt jumping gay? you have obviously never set foot on a real set of trails.

bohan can just do everything, both ways, smooth and dialed. just style, but not lame "i got 4 tricks, but ohhhh, i've got style" he's got a huge bag of tricks. and can trick 30 foot doubles like most people couldnt jump a 10 foot double...

see, this is what i'm talking about. what the fuck did he do? you seriously just wrote like 100 words and none of them were the name of a trick. it's pretty obvious to me that his runs consisted entirely of x up rides and peg taps.

and for the record, i grew up going to trails all the time and have always hated it. it is gay and shouldn't exist anymore.

well that's too bad that you can't see how fun trails can be...

opp 360 no handers, one footed one handed tables, whatever he wants mannnn...

Just know that BMX "street" is fucking gay. Pick up a skateboard since you bite everything from skaters anyway.

Filming/editing style, check
Music, check
Interesting tricks, nope - just the same four tricks recycled at different spots, mainly skate spots.

you are very wrong and will hopefully someday be imprisoned for your faulty opinions.

tom white had one of the best parts of the year, cory apparently didn't have a video part at all. it's rider of the year, not rider of the century.

and i wish i could still do a decent barspin to feeble.

didnt corey have a part in living in exile? pretty sure that little part was better then all of tom whites. I enjoy tom white but come on he's no where near coreys level.

Adam22 said...

i own living in exile and i'm pretty sure he didn't. tom white is like a trillion times better at riding than that dude although to be fair, its an apples and oranges thing.

Keep your salted opinions to yourself. Gotta love a kid with a spot on the Internet who poaches all his content and then adds his ignorant views to 'em. You're site is a downer.

cry me a river, queerdo.

hey, there are plenty of riders that kill it on streets...and dirt...and racing, brian foster, aitken, van homan...the list isn't short, im not saying hey like it or else, im saying give credit where credit's due kids race all over, trails are definetly in a resurgance, street and park riders that grow up as racers seem to be the best at anything they want to do and it definetly has shown
