I'm not going to lie, this is the single worst album of all time. I neglected to download it when I first saw it online, but then I read this review and started to think that maybe it would be good. A lot of rap cd's end up sucking because the rapper who makes it is just a bad rapper. Puffy doesn't have to worry about that because he doesn't write his own rhymes. He hires guys like Common, Nas or Pharoe Monch to write his shit. He's also rich as shit so he can afford very expensive and presumably good beats.
But somehow this formula doesn't work, the whole thing ends up sounding really spacey and gay. Some of the beats are like, slightly hard hitting and powerful sounding but Puff's ridiculously bad voice makes them all sound fruity as shit. Instead of getting a bunch of dope MC's to spice up the songs, he enlists seriously every R&B singer you've ever heard of to gay up every song. The sole high point is when Nas shows up to spit a really ridiculous verse.

i'm not really into hiphop nor do i know anything about it but the papoose album is sick. the cover artwork is also sick lolz
hahaha puffy is the worst
puffy needs a reality check. i mean seriously, if i wanted to hear someone aimlessly mumble i would visit the local meth adict. ON THE OTHER HAND, Papoose is kick ass, puffy should take a few lessons.
